Delhi
Where History Meets Modern India
Delhi, the vibrant capital of India, is a city that seamlessly blends ancient heritage with modern life. With a history dating back thousands of years, Delhi has served as the capital for many powerful empires, especially the Mughals and the Delhi Sultanate.
The city is divided into two main parts:
- Old Delhi – A historic area filled with narrow lanes, bustling markets like Chandni Chowk, and monumental structures such as the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Raj Ghat.
- New Delhi – Designed by the British in the 20th century, it features wide roads, colonial architecture, government buildings, and landmarks like India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and Connaught Place.
Delhi is also home to spiritual landmarks like the Lotus Temple, Akshardham Temple, and Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, along with world-class museums, shopping malls, metro connectivity, and diverse cuisine from every part of India.
